the dove
soft, quiet, reserved,
her coo, whispering a lazy discern
her eye lids flutter contentment
like a cloudless blue sky drifting
or' the calm playful glance of being

for a while I sleep & dream
a strawberry taste, the energy
bubbling a giggle thru the living room
sea breeze whispering thru my curtains
paying it forward
till sun sets, creeping over still waters

I love the dark, right before sun rise
Can you feel the quiet
there is a comforting stillness…
which plays the soul like soft music
a sort of waning…alone, but never lonely
that I so love…

hunting for shells along the shore
of some endless beach
walking through
an open bay window into
crisp morning light
unfurling wings of earthy breathe
perspective along a moonlit road
disappears into endless white
such a creative kindred spirit
utterly irresistible
this Jamaican road
with a sideways shift
evolving…

Great wordplay and stunning local color, feeling as if I was there beside you as you walked that beach toward that "sideways shift / evolving…"
