Autumn For no particular reason We decided to spend an afternoon At Warren Dunes It took hours to get there And when we finally arrived Of all things it began to snow I didn’t care nor did you The wind the snow the cold gray air The mounds of sand that filled our shoes That’s how it was to be in love With being in love with you becoming More than you ever were . |
