Uploaded with ImageShack.us I hear sounds in the dark hour that bite, There is a reason I'm all hunkered down, Upon my window salivates the night. I sit here with all my candles and write, Dreaming of my lady in satin gowns, I hear sounds in the dark hour that bite. My woman believes I am her White Knight, But times such as now I feel like a clown, Upon my window salivates the night. Wonder what she'd think if she knew my fright? I sit here writing, wearing a half crown, I hear sounds in the dark hour that bite. I hope that she never knows of my plight, As I write by candles in my ghost town, Upon my window salivates the night. My last name is Poe, and fear I invite, My sweet Annabel's smile will be a frown. I hear sounds in the dark hour that bite. Upon my window salivates the night. ©April 17, 2012 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Excellent work, dark Jerry! You vanquish fear by inviting it ... and in the same time you master the form with nonchalance it seems to me. The full weight of the crown is back ... feel it! Margherita |

Good morning, Lori, sorry about the creeps, but thank you for reading on anyway. I appreciate it. <><><><> Shine the light on your fears, Margherita, and fear will vanish. I'm not too sure about the crown though. Thank you for being in my world this morning. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
