AUTUMN SUN (Part 1) She sits there at the airport, sun-hat in her hand Dreaming of her childhood, of buckets spades and sand Travelling on her own today, her husband waved farewell Spanish shores they beckon now, and only time will tell Was this impulsive nature, or things she'd done before The wonder of the feelings, or stranger on the shore A glass of wine while waiting, for departure time A subtle smile upon her lips, her eyes begin to shine. Her boarding pass she's holding, awaiting final call An early Autumn morning, some leaves begin to fall A slight chill in the air today, but blue skies soon she'll see Soon Spanish Sun will warm her, her toes in sand and sea. She wonders if he'll be there, can he get away Could they be together, for even just one day He needs the Autumn sunshine, she needs him by her side Neath Harvest Moon together, they'll watch the rising tide |

So very very beautiful! I identified with her ... and now I am in a romantic mood, even though I am in the Spring sun, it fits too ... Welcome to Pip! Margherita |
