Framing for a Tango Like do cosmetics, wraps hide a bit of truth, Women on a tango floor are thinly dressed; Men will fake a push away, then snap her back Passion to regain, if she seeks a different face. In this dance, all duets become as lovers, Married , single, doesn't matter something Here is mixed in body beakers spun, and shook That warms to high degree-desire from Appointed steps, of whirl, and spin, and touch The Couples frame... one will lead , and one will follow. In silent pose they freeze and listen for the starting beat, Of horns and strings and drums... their ears they trust- She holds her left knee up..his right hand placed Up high to brace, and keep her safe from fall and crash... Bodies are all that matters this eve.. lust is the crave From skin being touched, no need for emotion Found deep in the brain, when whirling makes circles Of centrifuge colors- and the physics of turning Makes pheromones seep, and mix with sweat on the skin- Passing through membranes, to meet with perfume Laced with the scent of sin-that blends With macho cologne that is worn by the devil, Recently Dipped, and brought up in bottles, By Merman's that live in the Styx-- Which enhances the madness of drunken eros, Who's already high on sexual tension From drinking strong wine, of rare spanish vintage Decanted from Magnums, of fast latin rhythms. All I can say is watching a tango (I never learned the dance, dammit) is almost like watching porn with style and grace. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

I took tango a loooong time ago when I was in dance; it is such a beautiful dance to me, done properly. No inhibitions, no real consious thought, just primitive wrapped in silk. Very very nice |

It is hard to believe that it has been 20 years since "Scent of a Woman" came out, which gave the Tango another great boost - and a movie I never tire of, simple because of the language one uses while blind...supple, sensuous, sincere sin... that only an audience can appreciate. Well done, ice! You never let us down! |

You stir many emotions with your passionate Tango write, dear Ford. Tango in my eyes, when it is well done, becomes refined elegance with a highly sensual ingredient, but it is above all ART. The art of harmony of two bodies which move in grace along the trails of desire, yes. Of course, as a free flying "rock & roll girl" I thoroughly hated Tango in my youth, because men felt decidedly too close for my taste!! Very nice, dear Ford! Margherita |

My dear friends Each of these replies call for more time to answer..as individuals, they deserve more than this simple note of attention,.. But it is spring, and I am one that has taken the resposibility of nurturing gardens.. As well as tiny plants that need attention, so that their baby lives can become prosperus, and the benifits of their beauty will make the world more comfortable.. I am very busy right now, with my nursery buisness, and landscaping.. Thank you all, I love the replies. "Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance." |

You know the essence of the Tango very well. I am always fascinated with the love/hate relationship it portrays and sculpted body language is so entwined and intricate. Liked this a lot. |
