The Sky and The Sea Tug this ecstasy toward the moon said the sky to the sea hanging on the hook of your tune said the sky to the sea Splendor flashes out today, tonight said the sky to the sea I have painted you with pure light said the sky to the sea Shone in the sun all rivers that run tributaries pay tribute to you the contrast of blue on blue I don't know where you begin and I end maybe we can blend but what are we meant to be said the sky to the sea Tug this entropy toward the stars said the sky to the sea hang my hopes above the cars said the sky to the sea Blue-green entropy, rare beauty from the sky to the sea like October opal and July ruby I'm the sky and you're the sea Swim in the stars over all people and cars on the feather of love you will die like a moment I left out to dry I don't know how you feel but I feel maybe we can steal a little shine from the sea said this guy to the girl he needs And at dusk, under a fingernail moon we'll watch the circus tent come down too soon we'll taste salt on our lips and make sure this picture fits Vincent Van Gogh draped in green envy XO, XO, love, from the sky to the sea.
