the snow / has drifted |

the snow has drifted over the bird feeder but the birds return because they remember everything then they fly off because they remember nothing we used to eat at a dark cafe now destroyed by fire on my walk to nowhere I often pass the ashes -- the air still tinged with gasoline- scented purfume poetry podcasts, blogs and photopoems at URL= http://anthonyarmstrong.ca |

A mom and pop coffee house which took some trade away from Starbucks burned to the ground, only ashes were left. Your poem brought all that back. ~*~ I gave up feeling guilty just to survive a long time ago ~*~ |
