The words I speak are not my own
They come from a space unknown
I hold no sway in this time and place
I feel no wind on my weathered face
Distant lands they beckon me
With subtle hints of fertility
A life I dream of is real and true
To turn my blood back to red from blue
No collection of prophets will understand
The fulcrum point of my rights as man
I have but one ultimate goal in mind
To feel love again, peace at last to find
Seek not the comforts of a stable home
Stretch far and wide so that your soul may roam
Be fearful not of what there is to loose
Dare to have the strength to choose
What you know is real deep in your heart
Trust in the feelings you had from the start
For nothing will quell the pangs of lost fate
Nothing will satisfy your primal state
But that thing alone which you most desire
Your only salvation to carry you higher
No words I say, no verse I write
Will ever bring forth what I cry for tonight
But life goes on and so I must
Do what I can before I turn to dust
For if I could find that special friend
I would give it all to love again

Unorthodox maybe, but I grow on you.
