The arrow which falls on the deer at bay leaves the unconscious and wounded animal, the sun lowers the ladder of the knowledge and its light weakens in the glances, let us not be surprised of the hard time, the black procession of the nights sometimes passes without its horses and its sadnesses leaving the heart inanimate and sovereign, the sea does not surprise the sailor and his ship, the sky savors the friendship of the talkative clouds, the woman surprises the man and her sleep, the one who smiles pick up sleepless nights, let us be not surprised by stars by the events of the winter which breaks roofs, they are common to all and to the sun, the one who cries mislead the sky of our hands. |

" poetry must be different of philosophy" I think you are wrong, I think your poem speaks for you.. as all poems do..for each of us...waxing philosophical shows us who you are.. This poem is excellent in that regard..and many other regards. This poem is Lucilius, serving Brutus...and you are Portia. This poem is sort of a son to you, That you show off to the world...you can be proud of him (it)
