In All Her Freckled Beauty Pipi I remember when you started wearing high heals and silk dresses with your long stockings still in place and from a distance I though you were another woman but when I came in close the freckles and the pigtails and your beautiful smile were still in style. Still from that day forward I knew that things had changed, like a butterfly silly young girls transform into desirable women right before your eyes, learning how to kiss and leaving hearts amiss, like the artist that paints the essence of you and the poets that write of a woman in longstockings as sweet as you. Roy Orbison wrote and sang a song about this vision in your poem subject: "Pretty Woman" I think this is one of your best, James. JL ![]() Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |
