Life is but a tapestry- Made up of myriad threads. It matters not the path we’re on, Nor where we lay our heads. Nor if we’ve lost, if we’ve but loved- It’s not a tragedy- To meet, like ships which pass at night, If such is meant to be. But not know love, heaven forbid! For even pain is sweet… And far surpasses loneliness- When passing lovers meet. So live, and love, if needs be weep- ‘Tis but another skein- That paints the twisted warp of life- With merriment and pain. |

Yup, 'tis better to have loved and lost, than never loved at all. Great write. |

Love lost, though it be painful, is still something one could justifiably cherish for the remainder of their days. This I know. Enjoyable read. Michael |
