Daisies Don't Kiss Back
(and neither do you)

In fields of Red Clover
we lay
with daisies here and there
of which
one
you placed
against my lips

Kiss it you said
but it didn't kiss me back

Kiss me you said
placing your lips to mine

and then I learned the lie
behind the words you imply

Daisies don't kiss back

and

neither do you
