Stayers & Leavers

"Some are stayers and some
are leavers."

So as long as the right ones stay
and the wrong ones leave,
life will be an abundance
of laughs and smiles,
trouble is you don't have
any control over who stays
and who leaves, or do you?

The answer can be a yes,
for if you treat them good
they are more likely to stay
and if you treated them bad
and they choose to leave
even though you wanted them to stay
but they grew weary of your nonsense,
I must say "Shame on you."
Congratulations, you are a skilled
messer up of opportunities
and chances are you will
entertain many leavers
in your lifetime.

Ahhh James. Even if you "treat them good" you have no guarantee they will stay. Love is a fickle friend . . .

Sometimes the stayers would be leavers too if they but had the chance. But circumstances make them stayers - Because They Have No Place Else To Go !!! Would not I leave, but for that!
