I dreamt I penned a poem, With words beyond compare, Of hope and dreams and boundless love, Of beauty O' so rare. Each word a note, each line a song, Each verse a symphony, Sung by muses from on high, In perfect harmony. Then I woke in dawn's first light, I rose to meet new day, While still in bed, my fairest rose, In slumber yet did lay. I gazed upon her tranquil being, Upon quiescent face, Realized that I was gazing, Upon angelic grace. Of the poem I had dreamt, My dream had come to life, Laying there upon our bed, In fairest rose, my wife. Hope Ms. Santos doesn't take offense. Haven't written much lately, but do come in to read my favorite authors. Read her wonderful dream poem and was inspired by her thoughts. |

I doubt she would take offense at being culpable in knowing she jump-started this lovely poetry, Tim. ~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~ |
