JUST LIKE YOUR PROMISE
26 August 2013

You were there
just above the palm trees
from nine thousand miles away
over land and sea
in the spirit of that yellow-billed kite
swirling in elated circles
rollercoasting in the sensuous wind
in wild abandon and bliss
and I saw you
and I heard your voice
and you lifted me up
and I joined you in your dance
and we were
one
glorious
one.
