Yesterday's fallen washed by the coy side of rain, hours have past since its bullets of storm sounds a banner of birds stretches the skyline reminding the new day has come again open your windows!! we are safe (for the moment) [This message has been edited by EmmaRose (09-17-2013 09:54 AM).] |

No. We are not safe, Emma. America is in deep, deep trouble. ~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Emma, you have to live in the moment, as you imply in your poem. And there is no room for fear in every moment or we could not stand to live. "Safe" is an illusion. When it is our time to go, it is our time to go. Lori ![]() |

Enjoyed this, my friend. Safe IS an illusion. It only takes a shimmer in a life to destroy everything. But the illusion is beautiful and we have to hold onto it as tight as we can and pray it never shimmers. j. |
