If a color was life, would that color be blue?
Blue as time you were left to assume.

Maybe the color, would somehow be black?
Black as the cat, with no strings attached.

Perhaps it'd be green, a natural scheme.
Or yellow just might induce you to fight.

Grey lay in shadow. white way above,
Purple was a color my mother would love.

Orange you glad, you heard it here first.
Pink is alive like a pig in its sty.

Brown as the dirt, that inherits the earth.
Red as a beet, As a rose that smells sweet.

A burgundy wine for a jolly ole time,
Lime like slime, and a dirty old mind.

Teal with zeal...truly unreal.

If a color was life, what a life it would be.
With so many colors and so many schemes,
So many options and so many hues,

Forgive me if I choose a plethora of views.

Hah! That's me. I have two glasses of cheap California burgundy every night before I go to bed. Yes indeed, Gotta love it. You have a good time with your "Colorful Life, and so did I as I read it.

Loved this! it is playful, yet...and all the colors are vibrant, even the earthy brown. The whole concept is very creative! Enjoyed!

thanx everyone for the kind thoughts I wrote this while I was in a playful mood and it took me all of five minutes which for me was a rare event
