On Radiant Wings Beneath a bright-white moon and Venus rising to a lucent-twilight cicada song of life and Summer passing into the eternal ‘Deep-Time’ void of non-return,’ in these unguarded and pensive moments when one must shadow -dance with legions of memories, dreams, and regrets of all the ‘should-have-beens,’ the heart and spirit may be as yet set free from the mind-shackling darkness of the past by the infinite hope and promise of one last, best chance for a healing and glorious dawn in which a beautiful new love is the incandescent Phoenix rising on radiant, quivering wings to greet the morning star. --- b. e. adams (ever the 'Romanticist' first and foremost) (8/19/2013) Adieu! |

Enjoyed as usual. I think the secret of life is to be content with what one has. Never lose hope of course but too much hope for something else to "save us" can blind us to the little things in life that though small are nevertheless significant - yes, like the blue pages. Helen |

I don't feel there is ever a "one last chance," Bruce, except when we are lying comatose in some nursing home from hell somewhere. From personal experiences I found that one when I was already too old to think it would ever come, she was the same way. By the way I had to change my name again, I'm JerryPat2. ~*~ Haunted French pancakes give me the crepes. ~*~ |
