tell me
that you love me from afar
tell me what my heart would say
tell me what we are today

so tell me

tell me
that you love me from afar
you say my words you understand
you say you are my biggest fan

in a room down the hall
photos paper the walls
there's mp3s and dvds
an awkward shrine just for me

tell me
that you love me from afar
tell me you could heal my heart
tell me i'm your rising star

so tell me

tell me
that you love me from afar
tell me what my heart would say
tell me what we are today

tell me
tell me that you love me

Such a heartfelt motion and emotion springing from your innermost longing.

Well done. Could be a song too.

I do love this heart spill....and the very breath and depth of the matter

Great to read you here again.

I like this for way more reasons than my lazy fingers are willing to type this morning. Topic is original, form (like your choice of repititon) My favorite line:
"an awkward shrine just for me"

Enjoyed!

Okay, this one touches home base as far as I'm concerned. Those afar relationships are fraught, at times, with this kind of musing.

Thank you all for the responses. This one was in my head after a rather strange dream, one which, for me, has no basis in reality.
