Wordy Nerdy I’ve got all these words a’swirlin’ All around in my crazy mind And, I keep on a’ searching Trying to the right kind. If I really wrote my feelings ‘twould make somebody sad Because most of my thoughts Are, rally kinda bad! I rarely do some editing And my spelling checker’s broke So, you’ll just have to read thise words My brokn mind has spoke. Prob’bly nobody wants to here But, I don’’t relly care Cause all I can do is the thoughts That are here or were there. I’ve been one place for a ear And coan’t count a ingle froend And I just seem to be waiting Until the waiting ends. It does’nt relly bother me Kinda used to where I am No matter howI try and try Just end up right here ahain. Never saw so many typos in your poetry, Abe. Makes me wonder if they were part of the plan. I like this poem - hate to think that you are that alone, but maybe you are and maybe you aren't. I try not to put people's personal lives in their poetry (if that makes sense). I read your poems - and as I said yesterday, don't always agree. However, I do appreciate that you have a point of view. A |

And I just seem to be waiting Until the waiting ends. Many of us know that feeling... including me.  I'm so glad we have words... they seem to make the wait easier. |
