Insidious sin it is It holds the power that drives the world Even those that preach against it and it's evils use the lure of abundance waiting for them from God To be saved dial 1-800 And be sure you get the right denomination of green backs and congregation There are good souls that feed the hungry clothe the naked love the unloved Not because of dogma (I'll except karma) I believe because they possess fundamental understandings of the lessons Christ taught Because those principals are ageless Just as in his time Religion and Government are still linked together through power and money There are those among us that have been neglected disdained and rejected by Society's Elite Some remember what Jesus did And where He went and who He hung out with He spoke in parables to get to the essences of things not letters of laws The heart of the matter of man's flaws He turned his back on church and state to care for the rest The state that goes for the letter of the law always to circumvent it to a worthy payoff The letters can be rearranged to spell different meanings Essences cannot The essence of a thing is it's truth The essence of Greed is Hunger and Pain LGR(c)7/29/13 |

Amen to all that...gotta find faith in the message, not the money changers that charge for it, then put gold toilet seats in their homes.. |

How'd Emma get ahead of me? Heh.Heh You have hit the nail on the proverbial head. I find a lot of hypocrisy and greed as you put it in the temples of the faithful. ~*~ Did you hear about the cross eyed teacher who lost her job because she couldn't control her pupils? ~*~ |

Very true, Lori! It's funny by the way, but when I read lines: "waiting for them from God To be saved dial 1-800" I did it in English except numbers, which I've read in Russian just automatically because of their next position and... in Russian they rhyme with "God" 1-800 - îäèí-âîñåìüñîò (odin-vosemsot) |

That is true, Lori, they sometimes look as if they have been through a brain-washing, which, of course they have. ~*~ Did you hear about the cross eyed teacher who lost her job because she couldn't control her pupils? ~*~ |

Yep JP2, By the way I love your little comment at the bottom of your page. I'm going to put that on the wall at work when school starts back up. Lori |
