Zen Romanticism: in stormy dreams and awakenings___ you are the rainbow afternoon thoughts drifting with butterflies___ toward your heart me in the wilderness you across the miles___ same full moon Zen miscellanea: full-bright moon deer deer shadow dew on the grass seasons and mountains___ all things passing light of many worlds fourteen billion years___ the Milky Way dew on the grass mountains in mist___ so many mysteries sunrise … sunset ever rolling stream leaf over the falls you and I an atom and the universe all entangled bright and dim dim and bright clouds passing searing summer day rocks teaching us to do nothing your spirit, the truth, wilderness and silent prayer the path less followed morning light dropping dew hummingbirds sounds of the surf empty-shell echoes a sea bird walks alone alone in the deep woods and thunderous evening calm full moon and shadows --- b. e adams (7/22/2013) |
