The sky told me stories tonight as I watched enraptured as sun set the filter of loss. "Start-the-show" lights called for silence and haste the birds ruffled feathers as if in good taste like ladies with fans held by white finger gloves applauding the rise of reveal as above the slow glow of witness silenced us all the sun tipped his hat he bowed his last bow as Venus made entrance the moon kissed the sun and day became night and the night became one. Hibiscus petals fell softly with pure intention of knowing their timing was sure as night blooming jasmine grace parfum unfurl: whispered the lyrics oh-be-at-peace, world. * * * signs of the times with omens of old blood on a burgeoning moon, I've been told begs to shut shutters cook soup on the stove gather dry wood before seasons of cold be a good steward of all that you know But find you much solace in the nightly show. Death is the only vow we can keep. So close your eyes gently-- and bang the drum slow. * * * that's for you baby--see? I ended it without a neat or even a slant rhyme. I love you Helen. G'nite. * * * smile..well, I thought I didn't rhyme. She's laughing, somewhere out there. If anyone needs to have church for her? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwiBsNzO2HU But know that "River" was her sigh. |

quote: And I am at peace too, after absorbing this deeply captivating love-stream for dear Helen. I am also listening to the album and thank you for sharing it. I am moved by your inspired work and tribute. Love and hugs, remembering ... Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; I am mastered totally by Love." (Rumi) |

It feels so good when we can argue within a safe sphere of love, which can hold different opinions and expand, as both parts involved feel enriched. You loved her and always will ... |

This revealed a side of you I'm not used to seeing, probably because I wade through life with my eyes shut, but it was still a pleasure to see. I'm sure Helen is smiling, too. Michael |

L G This blew my mind: "Death is the only vow we can keep." Wish I'd thought of that, beautiful! Lori |

This is truly one of the most beautifully worded poems to some one who is gone. I think tomorrow is the memorial they are giving for her in her area. Love to you, jo |
