A Moment of Love What could be more pure and beautiful than white-cotton cloud legions marching through an endless azure sky, a grand golden Summer sunset slipping into the calm-bright sea, the scent of jasmine and roses floating on this soft twilight breeze, a thousand silver moonbeams shadow-dancing to the silent music of wilderness and time … even one moment of your love, stolen from eternity, far surpasses each of these, and is worth so much more than all the riches that have ever been. --- b. e. adams (7/13/2013) |

Beautiful, my friend, but we got a thunderstorm today, which as hot and dry as it's been, was beautiful thing indeed. Enjoyed. j. |

Thanks so much ... to each of you fine folks!! I've never quite figured out whether it is a magnificent curse ... or a blessing ... to be a poet and 'incurable Romantic' ?! (sure doesn't seem to 'fit well' with this double-post-modern world.) |
