this is the bewitching time a slowing down time while the franticness of the day surrenders to the intimacy of night as the harried and confusing day dies away and its noise is relaxed to a more peacefulness sans the reverberation of all the clutter the merging darkness charms the collisions of daytime clash night is the time where things mean more to us and in that vein we are truer to ourselves in the dark of the hour ©May 20, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Thank you much, Emma, it is the nighttime when we can allow our thoughts the freedom to wonder, or wander, unperturbed. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Yes it is true and peaceful even until dawn. Freedom of the mind is a blessed thing...It can take you where ever you want to go... Nice piece to wake up to Jerry. Lori |

Glad you liked the poem, Lori. Yes, nighttime is special here in Thibodaux, even with the occasional siren to startle the night, I know it is most likely speeding to someone in need. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Love the concept here... one might even take it a step further to say we are only truly ourselves when we dream. Some deep thoughts for this early in the morning. Think I need my coffee. Michael |

Wow, MY dreams, if truly, the true me . . . I want them to be my waking life!! They are so exciting and wonderful (whether good or nightmarish) and would add such a spice to life! Good words, my friend... fodder for the mind for sure! j. |
