Yesterday once more

How soft the moon,each shadow's kiss
A touch upon your breast, so light
Do distant souls,just sometimes walk
Along their lonesome path at night

A muffled bell,at midnight hour
Silk burgundy,on rippled lake
A fleeting touch,a tear to trace
Too ripe the fruit,you reach to take

The fragrant breeze,remembers you
Perfume lingers,or so it seems
Was yesterday the day before
The one when you still had your dreams

And Sirius,above the Tor
Where planted staff,a thorn would grow
And legends lost,of Merlin's quest
Like Arthur's Queen a love you know

And moorland paths,where do they go
Like life meander,here and there
And clouds that hide,the grief inside
The smile a mask,on vacant stare

I watched the flag,on pole unfurl
The singing rigging on the mast
Which way the wind,will blow this day
The tide soon turns,life's gone too fast

Where sea meets sky,the sun to lie
Orange fingers flame in the West
So dark the sea,the waves that plea
So tired,salt tears,now time to rest

Horizon far,it is still day
And things that are,are yet to be
And if I could I'd fly away
In Love,another day to see

Very, very lovely.

Having read "Yesterday Never Comes" I had to come back to edit this. However, I have no words to say what I want to say, only that I am so sorry for your pain - which sounds so trite.
