Wonderful --- I found a Robin fledging (from a blue egg - go figure), as are a Starling's eggs, in my yard today, not quite flight ready so caught and put him in a bush. Mama was quite upset --- don't think she and daddy were thinking about the egg at the time, but I loved your write, it fit right in with a part of my day. j. |
