A Spiritual Life All of our self-focused arrogance in the name of desperate greed, luxury, fleeting fame or glory and all our machines have had little effect on the quintessential laws of the universe. That which remains most truly ‘alive’ is the wilderness and love These still stand as the hope for a future delimiting our real needs and a calling toward a higher, spiritual life. --- b. e. adams 6/29/2013) |

I absolutely believe in your thought within the framework of your poem. We are a superficial people. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Yes, beyond our material desires, a spiritual world waits to be discovered, just like the eternal Universal truths. The true wealth of Humanity is the intellect that allows us to explore the wonders that surround us and our own human evolution towards the respect of each other and of our Earth. When we awaken to Love, just as you say, we certainly will evolve faster ... Beautifully said. Margherita |
