Shifting sands Bayou turbulence Miles and miles from you Still . . . Like draping moss Pushed by the winds of your thoughts As you lie in bed dreaming Of a man You can't stop wanting And he is there on the bayou Dreaming his very own dreams of you You quickly sit up in bed Understanding he has given you Something to remember Bayou turbulence and draping moss Pushed by the winds of your thoughts ©June 3, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Okay, this so works for my tumbling midnight turbulences of upright moments.... |

A new favorite! I much enjoyed the read--this had a subtle impact upon my psyche. You have accomplished in this what I strive to accomplish in my own expressions--to move a reader without pushing. I am left with poet-envy. |
