She had black hair
and her bangs slightly covered her forehead
slightly thin eyelashes, hazel eyes
as she stood next to the heat lamp

Her breathing was a bit spread out
a bit uneasy
as the crowd began to fill up
walking in and around her

She wore a black tank-top
with small, fake diamonds
sewed around the neck
denim, white pants
light, yellow flat tops

She was alone,
in the middle of the street
alone as one stands
in a terminal in the airport
that long winding tunnel
unsure if they should go in or not
standing in-between the airport and the plane
in the middle of a spaceless moment

So, she cusped her hands together,
a bit sweaty
she turned her head towards
A small, brown wooden bench sitting on the far right
as she found solace, sitting by the edge
for the night only served as a reminder
that her heart had yet to fully recover.
