Driftwood Springtime found Driftwood sprawled apart in her sandstone garden Rotted at the crotch where once Hen and Chicks grew… Gardening found her split in halves A solar light, thrust into her decaying heart, spared Driftwood from cremation… That final blow illuminating a nocturnal fatal wound of art… Decorations of copper butterflies bobbing on wires sprouting from her many worm holes A terra cotta high rise spilling chicks between her legs LGR©6/5/2013 [This message has been edited by Lori Grosser Rhoden (06-06-2013 09:08 AM).] |

Ahhh . . . Driftwood seems to have been neglected much too long . . . She, however has spirit and the spirit is not Rotted. Driftwood will survive to love another day. ~*~ When you get a bladder infection, urine trouble. ~*~ |

Her beauty has simply changed. What some see as rotten waste others see as a continuation of her natural beauty and accentuate it. I appreciae your comments. Lori |
