Light of the Wilderness

Cotton cloud-ships
float the deep azure
sea of air
over these verdant
summer-forest’s
‘endless’ hills
and crystal waters
just before the
flaming sunset and
the diaphanous
moonbeam
shadow-dance
to the evening
song of all
things passing …
May my very
last thoughts
and words be simply
that I have touched
the wilderness
and carry forever
its pure and wondrous
light in my immortal soul

Wonderful, dear Bruce.

Your soul is nourished by the infinite beauty around you and these emotions will never fade, I am sure.

You light the wilderness with your words, Bruce so that we all see it's beauty.
