the windows are dusty not so much I cannot see out I'm not the best housekeeper in the world not the worst either still, I have allowed let things go more so than I used to that is cool though, for as I said I can see out the windows every evening . . . late evening . . . dusk the sun's rays burnish the oak branches and the bayou looks on fire from the sunset at times such as this I feel I am alone in the world and nature's majestic wonder is mine and only mine to see its a solemn moment almost religious like and humbling and if the wind is up a little it shimmies on the water seems to send personal messages to me in syllables of an unbreakable code I sit, mesmerized as the sun gives way to dark I sigh the world at that moment is at peace and in consideration so am I somewhere it is said we only know a smidgen of our space on earth me? at times as I sit in darkness I feel I know everything the world has to offer its at times such as these that I feel at peace with me as a human and that, my friend, means everything ©May 30, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When you get a bladder infection, urine trouble. ~*~ [This message has been edited by JerryPat2 (06-03-2013 07:56 AM).] |
