His consonants Met vowels Consummating And Procreating An organically Carbon bonded Birth of words Words met One another Much like lovers Father and mothering Tangible thoughts Structuring New life Into a sentence Led by mind Captioned projections Designed natural selection Sentences paired Upon paper crafts Forming paragraphs A simple Symbiotic Collection To make us laugh And as the ink To paper spilled Silent Invisible Thoughts To yield Manifestations Of imagination And all beheld With wonder At this... Creation. This art form Where letters Make words born And sentences Served As demographic Representations Of mysterious Idea turned Into a science Until someone Came along With Aesop's fable And head long Decided it had to have Simply just happened To be Giving credence To credit the paragraph To sentence and sentence To word And ever Making letters The better Mechanistic Lever And by letters alone Without a mind Behind Refuting design We praise The things begotten But not the artist who made them |

You give a person a lot to think about here, you really, really do, and, in many ways, perhaps, it's alright and, maybe, even supposed to be that way that the artist is seen through their creation in that God, the Father of all creation, is, himself, seen likewise. Maybe? I like your reference to Aesop's Fables and to just "the story" in general and Greek culture where everything and I mean EVERYTHING is romanticized and given a character of some sort and even poetry itself is credited to the muses... so, yeah, where does the artist come in??? Ha! Anyways, I could go on and on... Like I said, you do give a lot to think about here. Good job! Enjoyed! Thanks for sharing! |

When we praise the things created we intrinsically give credit to the supreme Artist I believe. Good, thought provoking piece. Margherita |
