The trail to the Deep Is covered with stones The descent is steep With dark overtones My heart of red clay A cave that you paint A hunter at play Was never a saint A sign of the Flood And you leave your mark You sign with my blood And behind leave dark CG (P.S. something a little different from the usual 'mushy' sonnets...LOL) |

Dark and mysterious works for me every time. quote: My theme song . . . ~*~ I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me. ~*~ |

Nice! My favorite stanza was the first. It flowed well and was easy for me to imagine. Enjoyed! ![]() |
