Time you nuisance

Time i wish you had been a better friend
Instead of pushing, pulling me around
I wish you'd set a better pace and trend
But you would rather have us in you drown

I wish to all the world you'd take a break
Instead of breaking me into this chime
But all the souls that you so quickly take
Have lent me content to compose this rhyme

I think that I will take a break from you
Ignoring pesky moments as they beat
To lighten up my ever solemn view
I think that I'll make time with my own feet

So when you catch me , I'll be running to,
Eternity! and far away from you!

Time is fleeting for sure. I think there is a lot to be said for living in the moment, because that really is all there is.
