THE STORY OF A REINDEER, AN AEROPLANE AND A TEMPORARY PRINCESS 20 February 2012 I have an aeroplane – or at least an aeroplane wing – sticking out of the right-side of my head MY right-side, that is, not your right-side, or yours, or yours, for that matter, your left-side, not your wrong side. The prettiest little wasp - well I didn’t know he or she was pretty until afterwards when I rescued him or her from the bucket into which he or she fell - buzzed at my ear – my right one, not my wrong one, and wrongly, not rightly and instinctively and stupidly I brushed it away without stopping to think that it was probably just a pretty little wasp. So simply to protect himself or herself from a seemingly vicious human far bigger than a wasp, it sorta said, “Please don’t do that!” I think he or she may have said it twice and that was on Saturday and now I am Rudolphina the red-eared reindeer or Princess Charlotte with one normal ear or Diana with a fat and bright red aeroplane wing sticking out of the side of her head at a ninety degree angle until the swelling goes down. I think if I only had two such wings I could jump off the roof and fly. Owl |

Thank you eg. Thank you Jimmy. I am absolutely fine. It was only painful for about an hour on Saturday, then itchy and bright red and swollen and protruding enough to lift me lopsided into the wind. However, sadly my hopes of flying albeit lopsidedly, are subsiding because it has paled and is slowly going back to lie against my head, lol, but thanks for the concern. Giggles, Martyjo! It was fun, while it lasted. Owl |

You have made something painful into something funny with this one. You are Pagliacci laughing, even though you have a wing sticking out of your face. Good stuff here, I enjoyed reading it. Good to see you back. |

Thanks, Ice. I had to look up Pagliacci as I didn't know the opera - and I get exactly what you mean! Thanks again and smiles! It's good to be back, alive and kicking. Thanks for that too. Owl |

Thanks, Karilea, smiling. However, it wasn't very sore, nor for long at all. Actually it was interesting and fun. I have never been stung by a wasp before, despite the small wasp home just outisde my back door. Owl |
