FORGET-ME-NOTS
29 April 2013

There where the dawning
wraps its gold around the trees
and gilds white houses
into waking,
and flowers stretch their petals
and yawn with ease,
and birds trill hymns
of morning glory,
I pause and muse
and have my being
and softly
I
remember
you.
