"Treble In Mind" Listen, little fuzzy worm crawling on the leaf, others think you have some charm; I know you are a thief. You hike the road maps on the veins of each sprout--every fledgling -- leaving holes where'ere you go (you kill so gracefully.) The patterning you leave behind needed not much clue: I simply scored the five hard lines and cleft them unto you. Not so clever, nor a saint-- neither of us glow. I just happened on you first- you died to let my roses grow. I understand that change will come, I love your banner when you wing aloft to skies abundancy... but oh-my-lord, you sting. * * * http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEcTX6sd174 |

Lol, good morning K, this one left me with A.F.I.'s "Beautiful Thieves" playing in my head. Enjoyed. Michael |

I heard that, about the sting. I guess we've all had a taste of that. Enjoyed. ~*~ How does Moses make his tea? Hebrews it. ~*~ |

You are such a delight. I really loved your last verse and all that came before. Thanks for waving the banner of love and for just being here today, sharing your words. |

Always loved Janis ... "Maybe" has always been my favorite of hers ---- very cute piece, my friend, and yeah, have had a few of those stings, even one that blistered majorly! Thanks for posting this. Speaking of "those" critters, check these out that I just finished, by posting this link in your address bar . . . http://photographybyda.zenfolio.com/p244907360 or , actually I just clicked on it and it worked! Go figure! j. |

Yes, Janice was a Monarch... quote: ...and, beyond the glow worm, not, I thought the music of Janice and your poem made for a real nice juxtaposition and subliminal kind of tribute to the Queen of psychedelic soul and acid rock. Enjoyed! |

I'm just too silly for words. I do appreciate your kind attention on this one. I never really quit writing, but I posted this'n for Dixie Dear--just to let her know some of us are still around. Rounder, in my case. The vid is my dear Janis' cover of the original blues standard: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trouble_in_Mind_(song) Thanks for indulging me with a read, and I hope you enjoyed the tunage. *hugs* |
