Please light a candle here for me, Let me feel its fire – Until its flame at last goes out And my heart does tire. But in between the shade and shade Is where your love resides; There is where I count each day The flickers in your eyes. Then come and hold my hand, my Love; Let’s cherish all is bright – Let the candle’s glow in darkness Cast forth its guiding light. CG |
