lines follow the other some rhyme, others do not but layer upon layer words are built to contour into word jazz tinted with history's essence or reality's starkness perfumed, maybe rank in nature they can be small three lines or a saga built my heart laid bare, sometimes blood-soaked vengeance full-force vengeance is mine, saith . . . still, poetry, the settling of scores poetry can supercede the biblical wrath it seems that way to me been there no longer dwell in the dark my world has been turned topsy-turvy I've allowed someone to influence and rearrange the lines I write these days you won't find so much dark love blooms within my heart whatever the reason my words now have a softer flow I think of my words in relation to a garden of flowers and, for me, a meaningful way of life my words search not for perfection or excellence, no but for the feel of love and warmth I build my garden of words and cultivate them all especially for you ~*~ I know a guy who's addicted to brake fluid. You write some of the best love poems I've had the pleasure to read Jerry. This is no exception. Thank you for the smile! lori ![]() |
