I dreamt or dreamed that I dreamt. Of a distant fire burning in the night The moon was out The stars were bright Senses dulled, reality seemed distant Far from real surreal And in this dream you were there You shivered in my arms, Sweet perfume! Then I felt a flower blossom, Intoxicated cleanly, We stood there all the night time clearly, Then came the morning sunbeams, And you were you And I was I! How cruel it is that one may dream While yet still awake False Fantasias in a broken heart! |

Though fantasies are a whole lot of fun, they are, but, then, again, always heartbreaking when the happiest ones are proven false. Enjoyed! |
