Curious thought
I want to dance among the streets
with no shoes, hopping into a hymn.
Listening to soft winds,
chirping birds
and music of crickets. Watching
the sun, watch me
between current clouds
and the whispering of leaves
scrapping
cement. To transform back into a child
with no care in the world, except
for candy, starry nights,
my parent's
love.           I dreamed in pine needles
caught between frost and snow. I
kissed winter's air
and winter kissed backed. I fell into
a tree drizzled by the rain,
patting the world with
sweet salty tears. Gathered
leaves for an umbrella, in
a thunder...
  of a protest,
         I
      sing...
among the
         lightning.

Ah, this line is very personal to me. Among the pine needles. Arkansas. Two young lovers.
quote:
I dreamed in pine needles

I loved the carefree attitude of this poem, and the memories conjured up, as I have said above I relate . . . Good poetry.

Ah, to be young. Your thoughts and displays of youth are very gentle on the mind. A real pleasure to read.

Oh, I liked this so much!  It made me think of climbing tress and racing my brothers home trying to beat the street the street lights.  And I used to win too!
