Yeah, good piece, Jerry ... and "those were the days" ... I remember Humperdinck's version ... and there was another but can't bring it to mind --- but not Hopkins, didn't really like her version, I'm thinking of .... think it was male too.

Thanks, J, for dropping by and your input. I actually liked Hopkins version. I know Cream had a song out by the name of "Those Were The Days," but I don't think it was the same song. Again, much obliged for you presence here.

I liked Humperdincks version too...I was at one of his concerts once. What ever happened to him anyway...Yep those were the days...I was about twenty haa. Good one jerry

Okay, you and Jimmy are ganging up on me with Humperdinck's version. It took me three months giggling over his name before I could actually really listen to him. He was a great stylist, and I liked him very much. Have not the slightest idea what happened to him. Thanks, Victoria, appreciate the input . . .
