Vampyre V

The night is not to be feared
it hides many sins
and in the dark
we are who we long to be
I can't see your face
yet I feel you next to me
and you are so beautiful
I find I have no need of the light
to illuminate the way
as my fingers travel the paths
following the rhythmic pulse
that increases with every beat of your heart
leading me to the center of your soul
feeling the heat rising up through your flesh
and as your blood calls to me
I long to taste your need
sweet honey on my tongue
then asI take you in my arms
the night becomes day
and once again I must leave.
