Armoured again the weight of which these battle weary bones ache too old to sustain this defense. The battle ax too heavy to lift let alone swing high over head Gleaming sword sheathed to hilt, would now steady worn warrior's sway and faltering step staggering under chain maille's metal weave. The time has come by the time that's passed, to battle no more. I must bare my flesh unprotected from slinging barbs and arrows. 3/11/13 |
