I walk along the waters edge, where weeping willows roots grow deep. Riverbanks flow with grains of sand flowing deeply with thoughts of you. A tiny pebble of your smile, skips over the shimmer of yesterday. Footprints in salmon and ivory sand, flows through the hourglass of time. As the crystal pendulum swings; I walk along the waters edge where weeping willows roots grow deep. Beneath the midnight starry sky, I slip upon the grapes of love, within reflections of once was. ~Victoria [This message has been edited by Victoria (02-17-2013 09:01 AM).] |

This is beautifully done, Victoria. I particularly like this . . . quote: You thoughts inscribed as poetry is lovely, Victoria. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways . . . ~*~ |

Thank you dear Jerry, you are always so supportive with my poems. As I told you on email I magically made it disappear after writing it and had to recreate it again ha. I'm glad that doesnt happen too often. ![]() ~Victoria |

"within reflections of once was." Your last line is certainly a very poetic image I like the repetition of the roots of weeping willow, as well, a lovely depth is added by them. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
