Written as dictated to me by Harley my six-year-old great-grand-daughter.

The sun is bright in my eyes.
Look at me: I'm just a kid.
Then I asked my mom
to go to the park.
Then she said, "Yes".
We drove and we drove.
Then I went on the slide.
It was so pretty.
I loved that it was so great.
The sky was purple.
The clouds looked like animals.
I saw some bunnies.
Then we went home
and kissed good night

Thank you Mr. B. for posting. I like reading your Great-Grand-daughters poems. I know someone who also writes journals and in the same situation as you. Hes ninety and takes care of his wife and is just as spry as anything. Enjoyed.
