Where do you hide your madness? Are they partying for fun? And brought out just to French kiss, Incestuous daughters and sons? We know they live inside you, In dark corners make their stand, They're an insidious crew, Even though they have been banned. Your madness steers you afar, Leaving what's good for what is bad, It conceals all of your stars, And gives you doom I might add. I think you wish otherwise, That madness would go away, It's always there behind your eyes, Saving up for rainy days. Here's how to beat madness down, It cannot abide the truth, It'll turn madness into a clown, It will turn and run forsooth. ©February 2, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways . . . ~*~ |
