Were words too much for my lips to pass-- beyond the night into silence. I have heard the whispers of the mind as ghosts of past—and my spirit is no longer with me, for I have emptied my soul into her vessel ere long upon no longer the carcase of self, I have died and left what pieces spent wasting for the energies of this world to take back. What little sense is there to hold onto these memories that bring back a happy mind-- if only to be overshadowed by teary eyes. Some beauty does hold my eye so little to the attraction of what once was. Where did all the woes in the world gather if not in my empty vessel now filled with sorrow. TO proclaim I live with diginity if only I can steady my words-- sometimes maddening to the sense of loss, and the anger of betrayal; I know not these spheres as my eyes, but as a beast from the depths now forth into my being. And how then shall I hold myself back from releasing all the burdens I carry from keeping everything locked away as to lose my sanity completely. How do I look myself each day in the mirror-- whilst a shadow hangs from me. |

RS...Alot of pain and disappointment in these words...and so understandably so...betrayal rips out your heart...but well written as always. Nice to see you again ~Victoria Be not ashamed of mistakes and thus make them crimes. Confucius |

Look, look deeply into the mirror, until the shadows fade and you see the true nucleus of your being, your God-self, your soul. And then feel the pain dissolve ... Your poem is powerful and extremely well articulated. Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |
